Visit as a tour place but too crowded to sit down and enjoy coffee time. Buy coffee or souvenir and enjoy coffee outside!

This is the world's first Starbucks and they have kept to the original idea. Looks different from the other regular Starbucks cafes. It is more a tourist attraction with coffee being made on the side. You can definitely chat more with the baristas and figure out what you want. The service is slower. Don't know if that is on purpose to give you time to watch them at work or unintentional. But I've never had to wait about 7 minutes for a tall coffee. Everyone is very sweet to talk to. There are souvenirs that actually look very cool. Good experience and is a must stop. The coffee is just the same though :)

It's the 1st one, which is pretty cool, and means it offers unique souvenirs. Worth checking in on if you're a tourist already at Pike. Also means the line is often outrageous. But, attraction means only the best baristas, and even some cool trucks if you're lucky. No food though.

This is pretty much the same thing you get in every other Starbucks. But, being the first ever Starbucks makes it a big thing. Interior is really old fashioned and classic. Huge queue to get inside and its worth the wait.

Another worth visiting. They have the old logo for all their merchandise make it so unique for Starbucks lovers. The staff gives you historical information and very accommodating despite long lines. The store is small compared to a standard Starbucks all over the US and no seating chairs inside.

It is of Historical importance being the first shop of a chain followed worldwide.

Finally made my down and saw this location. Looks different from other Starbucks but it’s the original. Love it

FIRST STARBUCKS STORE!!! I know it’s a dream for Starbucks lovers to visit this store like ME!!! You will for sure fall in love with this store. Be prepared for the long queues which are worth the excitement. They have the same menu like other stores. Though the lines are long the customer service is so quick! I really appreciate it!! Make sure to buy their cup as a souvenir otherwise you will regret it after going back home.

Definitely worth the experience for a Starbucks fan. The original! Very cool to see how far they have come from this location. Love it!! Just something to visit, being the most successful coffee shop in the world. I’ve had Starbucks from Canada to Belgium to France, and each time is as good as the next. That’s why I consider Starbucks to be the best, most consistent coffee shop in the world.

As a Starbucks fan..I obviously had to check out 'the O.G.'.Cute little space. The staff was all super nice and outgoing. Awesome to see where they started and how far they've come.

We visited in October and probably waited around 30 minutes to get in. If you're not coming in to get merch, don't bother visiting. It's just like any other Starbucks. It was neat seeing the original brown logo though.

Being in the first Starbucks in Seattle makes a huge thing. Being there and try their pike place special coffee is an awesome feeling. I would recommend this a definite go place if you are in and around the place. The staffs are really humble and good to explain the history of the entire details 🤩😀😀😀

As an avid Star Bucks visitor my wife was very happy to visit the 'mecca' location where everything started. They had a plethora of cups to choose from that you couldn't get anywhere else that my wife still loves using today. If you like Star Bucks then be sure to check this location out. The line was not to horrid either.

First ever Starbucks. Long line up for Starbucks' first location merchandise. You can also get coffee here. However if you just want coffee, there are many Starbucks nearby.

Great experience getting my drink at the First Starbucks! Expect a line of going on weekends. Friendly and Speedy service.

So cool to visit the first Starbucks! I love Starbucks not just for the amazing coffee but for atmosphere. The store was very busy but the team did an amazing job directing customers and getting you in & out without making you feel rushed.

The lady working here ushering in was very rude and snappy. The lady outside the store ushering was nice.

I would say this is one of the most iconic locations to go to. With it being the first Starbucks ever, I think it’s worth to go just to take a picture of the location even if you don’t want to purchase a drink. Tons of gift options available as well!

This was a great time to go to a normally packed Starbucks. The very first Starbucks ever opened. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We took pictures of the plaque and the "market pig" covered in coffee beans and a burlap coffee sack. I didn't realize that they had merchandise specific to the first store. Bought a travel mug and a bag of coffee. 🙂☕

I love being able to go to the first Starbucks store ever. Makes me feel special for absolutely no reason and I like that haha.

It’s fabulous to see and to live the moment at the first location of Starbucks. I visited this place in the winter 2016 and the experience was wonderful. I Love Seattle city

They do not follow social distancing rules. I warned barista about social distancing but she was unprofessional and not nice. I asked to talk to manager. Manager was also not professional. I am not sure if he was manager. He was inexperienced in communication and didn’t know how to talk to customers.

First Starbucks. One of the top sales out of 30k of the world's locations. Line is rediculous, but it's very relaxed!

This was definitely the coolest Starbucks store! The baristas were super helpful with knowledge about the “special” drinks they offer! It’s not only the FIRST STARBUCKS STORE IN USA, but it’s also a Starbucks Reserve store! Obsessed with this place. Lines are terribly long, so be prepared to wait for a while. Ordering can be rushed, so try to know ahead of time what you want!

Although the line was long it was super quick and organized. Everyone was very friendly. They messed up my order but ended up giving the messed up drink and making me a new one. I really appreciated that. They have cups and mugs that are only sold in this store.

We came to know this is considered first store but it was moved here from its original location.I will suggest to go in the late evening/night as the store will be crowded during morning and evening.Coffee is same as in other stores

It is interesting to see and experience where Starbucks all started. Even though this is not the actual first store, this is considered to be the one. Everything remained the same design as it was. It offers some unique memoriblia like mugs and flasks to buy.Coffee is the same great quality as you would expect from the chain.Worth the visit if in the area, be prepared for the long queue though. Like outside the building, around the block long queue.

Yet another Starbucks. Nice and clean and , not sure if it was just me or the time I went in.. but I didn't wait very long. Seemed faster. Nice location too. This was the first time I've been here while visiting.

Been wanting to go here for a long time. Why wouldn't I if I'm in Seattle? It was cool once you got in. They take their time with you and realize it's just coffee to some and a landmark for others. The staff were fun and very cool so if you like Starbucks and a fun experience the wait in the line is worth it.

Just like most other Starbucks, except I didn’t really see anywhere to sit inside. Plenty of merchandise to buy there since it was the first Starbucks. Drinks made just as well as at other Starbucks locations I’ve visited.Keep in mind, some days (like weekends) might be crazy busy as it’s in a touristy location. Friendly service.

Cool little place. Love all the original logos and old school feel to it. Coffee made beautifully cant order the normal Starbucks food here just to warn you.

This is the flagship store of Starbucks in Seattle. I really wanted to come here. I bought many mug cups as souvenirs for my friends and colleagues. Starbucks stores have extended across the world from this store, which is amazing to us.

Great Customer Service! Very busy location with a fast moving line both ordering and waiting for drink. Highly recommend a visit and souvenir purchase.

Very interesting 🧐 that’s the first Starbucks ever in the world. Lane is huge, I wonder if they still making coffee for old recepy but I doubt. Never I would wait this long lane for cup of coffee 😂 but still interesting to see it by my own. And Seattle basically interesting city and place. I only heard good feedbacks about it and would definitely come back because 2 days not enough to explore all the cool spots. 🙈 I love traveling the world so I know for sure)

If you are in Seattle and you love coffee, then don't miss out to try the special pike blend they serve at the first Starbucks coffee shop! Ask them to make it as a drip coffee... so good! Oh, also try to get there early as it gets super busy pretty quickly!

I wanted to say I had been to the original. So now I have. It's pretty much what you'll find at any Starbucks - expensive burned coffee that you have to flavor to make bearable.The surrounding market place is interesting but feels a little unsafe. Lots of people and lots of things to look at.

I am not really a coffee person but while I was in Seattle this seemed like a touristy thing worth checking out. Each day I spent near Pike Place Market, I saw a long line outside this Starbucks. So decided to go closer to when they were closing as there was no line at that time. They had some merch and decor that mentioned how it was the first Starbucks but that’s about it. Nothing cool to see or do so I got my iced tea and left!

It is the first Starbucks and it was blast to be able to experience it. The wait for our crafted coffee drink was not long at all despite the large group of people that continued to stand in line to enter and experience where it all began

Got there at a good time, no line! A great place to visit and pick up merchandise [if you're a Starbucks fan like me]! The staff were nice. I was slightly annoyed it was obvious that my drink wasn't there and despite new people getting their drink before me, I had to ask for my drink which she had to check to see if I had paid. The store wasn't crowded so it was kinda awkward. I would get in a full packed store. Overall, always cool to see where it began!

All the staff was very efficient and friendly. Christie was my cashier. The hostess was incredibly helpful and helped me select the right cup of coffee.

Came here on a beautiful sunny day and ordered a special reserve drink. Love the atmosphere here, would come early to beat the line.
